St. Jacob Parc (II) St. Jacob Parc (II) is a concept for a fallow ground in Rotterdam which has a slowly increasing hill of 4,5m high over 170m in lenght. The increasing hill is used to make paddy like terraces. The site used to be a river and Rotterdam being a city that exist because of water, I used water to connect the different alltitudes. Also the green and walk/bike lanes are shaped like a flowing river. 01-sep-2010 |

The pillars are 4,5m high, the beams connect the pillars by ground, forming seatings, and by air, occianally forming waterfalls and planters. Seatings that close eachother in, have a tiling or can form a sandbox. The framework dissapears into the hill, where the beams that on lower ground were in the air, now form paths. 10-jul-2010 |
